Nice call Stewie
Do you beat yourself up for taking profits too soon? My in's are decent but my out's are horrible. Any advice?
-Idiot-
hi idiot. you are talking to the biggest idiot ;-) the only advise i can give you is it is virtually impossible to to trust this mrkt. you can have a gain and wait one hour and that gain is gone. so regularly booking gains is always a good idea but when i kick myself in the face is when i have conviction in a trade and yet i still get out. my advise to that scenario is always sell half just to satisfy that inner voice that says "sell" and keep the other half and lock it at breakeven and this way you are playing with house money. i should follow that advise myself.....
Amen, Stewie, Amen. I was long a considerable amount of sso at 21.80, qld at 26.30, adbe at 19.58, and fas at 7.70. I ended up clearing them all for a few k, but, when it was all said and done, I had given up over 32k in potential gains. Just be happy with what you get, cuz as you said you have it one minute and the next, poof, it's gone. Congrats on the engagement. Pm me, have something to talk with you about.
Your friend,

Great call again, bud! I like the new layout.
thnx OE. it took me several tries to get it to look decent. i had some other guys make fun of me for using gay looking layouts. lol!
My favorite was the polkadots! LOL :)
right. hahahaha!
Hey Stewie,
I have been in the Gold trade (long) for 2 months now and doing very well. I am watching it closely because if it breaks down past the 870 level I think the run might be over. I have been shorting a few but the past couple weeks I have been gun shy to jump in full boar in either direction. If we get a rally it might just be an explosion..LOL
Braunie
braunie: if the market does rally hard then gold short take a beating. but to be honest it's hard to see why equities need to rally with any conviction.
correction: Gold should take a beating if the mrkt rallies hard.
Another play is to get heavily short.
Oh wait...
