Been trading for three years without any real break. I need it. Need to get away and ENJOY LIFE!! Watching the travel channel today and fighting the market the past 2 weeks is making me think, it might be time.

go for it stewie. your only in this life for a limited time. just had a beautifull sister in law pass at 38 years old from a brain tumor. we never know. enjoy.plus trading does suck lately. no freakin volume, no defined trends. at least to me. Bill
Just Do it! Everything is yes until HE says no!! Give Gio a visit and share war days.
Time to get that well deserved time-off my friend...
EL NIDO, there's no place like it.

Go man go! I would have definitely sprung for a nice vacation if I had made $70k in July! Enjoy it. Drink those silly drinks with umbrella's in them and enjoy the sunsets.
thanks guys. these islands are gorgeous and it would be heavenly right now.
go for it stew. everyone deserves and needs a break sometime. just watch out for hurricanes if youre goin to the caribbean right now as its prime time! haha
I wish I took my money and saw something spectacular instead of staring at my computer screen and losing it. I wish I was in Hawaii right now sipping margaritas and surfing. Now that would be nice. Instead I'm in front of my computer listening to CNBC and watching choppy charts.
Your time is far and away more valuable than money. You can always make up for lost money, but you cannot make up for lost time. Go for it!
There's no time like the present. I'd take off now while the market is choppy on low volume. I like the Sandals resorts if you're looking for an easy getaway, all inclusive (as many pina coladas as you can drink!). Kauai is very nice. Costa Rica is DA BOMB if you want more of an adventure. It's very mellow, and there's some nice surf up by Tamarindo (Witch's Rock, Ollie's Point). A friend of a friend of ours owns the Witch's Rock Surf Camp. If you want to learn how to surf... (!) There's also some cool volcanos, rainforest hiking, etc. nearby.

was thinking the same thing today-i'm so friggin fried-i'm starting to dream about stocks-that NEVER happenned to me LOL
Perfect time to leave IMO since end of August school starts which leaves markets in a low volatility, low volume, hard to trade environment.
Start with Maui and work your way down the list. The markets will be here when you get back!
If you really want to get away try Rarotonga. The Society Islands are in the middle of nowhere. Rice, fish, the best fruit you've ever had with the sea and the forest. There's no snakes and no poison plants, it's amazing. Just simple and peaceful living.
Enjoy your trip if you go Stewie. I love your choices. I have never been across the Atlantic, but dream of it often.
always a bad sign when you are start to dream about stocks. I usually have dreams about MY stocks tanking. lol. crystal clear waters, fishing, clear blue skies with minimal human interaction and lots of ice cold pina coladas sounds AMAZING right now! Thanks for the sharing some ideas guys!!
I will chose Kakula Island, after a research online I found that the only way to get to Kakula Isand by air was traveling by http://www.vanuatuseaplanes.com/Gallery.php.
On the site have a look to the meridian resort picture (picutre 5) in vanuatu. not bad too
I hear anywhere in the golf is out of this world right now.
