Note To Self:

I cannot believe how quickly people forget that we are down 50% off the highs. Everyone is getting SOOOOO damn bullish so quickly, i am actually scared for them. Everybody thinks it's party time. I got news for ya: the market will always disappoint the hopeful. play it safe..... you will thank me later.....

I completely agree, however I think it's important to note that the markets can surprise to the upside as well... I believe this is entirely possible for this Friday...
everyone expects selling, especially into the close. A black swan awaits.

spaw: i agree with you. this is a historically bullish time for the mrkt, the NOv/dec time frame. i am expecting weakness to be bought for now but let's just hope it won't be a choppy rally like we saw in julyAugust.

the character of the market seems to have changed for now. rallies are holding and selloffs are quickly bought back up. dont know how long is going to last, but thats what I see happening right now.

It seems as if the hedge funds are dumping less in the afternoon. And yesterday at the close when the dumping began, buyers stepped in to overcome the selling. Either the hedge funds have less to liquidate or they have eased off to create the perception of strength so they can sell into it. That's my theory anyway.
